Candle Care
We want to make sure you will enjoy every bit of your candle.
find the following tips and instructions to get the very best of your candle.
- It is very important to keep your wick trimmed to 5-6mm and remove any debris as this encourages even burn and prevents the wick from smoking.
- Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time, to preserve candle fragrance.
- To avoid uneven burning, place your candle in a still air area, if not possible turn the candle periodically .
- Candles get affected by temperature and light. Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store your candle in your car especially in a warm day.
- Blowing out a candle is not recommended as the liquid wax might splatter and the wick may continue to glow and emit smoke causing uneven burn for next time you want to light up the candle. Try using a candle snuffer.
- Burn time of a candle depends on few factors, mainly the ambient, therefore the time given for the candle lifetime is approximate.
- All product dimensions are to the nearest mm and are subject to change without notice.
- Always trim the wick on a regular base.to provide the cleanest burn, we recommend to trim the wick and remove the black burnt wick.
Safety
- Never leave a lit candle unsupervised, make sure the candle is away from curtains or any flammable objects
- Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets at all times and always place on a stable, heat resistant surface.
- To avoid wax pool fire, Do not burn your candle all the way down the glass jar. Allow 10mm of non-molten wax in the bottom to avoid glass shattering.
If wax pool fire occurs, please do not panic especially if the candle is already placed on a non-flammable surface and nothing flammable is surrounding as the fire will remain localised. Use fire extinguisher or a fire blanket to put the fire down, this fire shall be treated like oil fire. (do not use blowing, never throw water or use flammable ingredients)
